An overview of how we can help you sell and buy at the same time.
Today we’ll talk about buying and selling a house at the same time. We’ve done many simultaneous transactions over the last few years.
First, we sit down with you and learn what staging is needed, go over pricing, and decide on a strategy for selling your house. At the same time, we’ll have you start talking to lenders. When your house goes on the market, we will then negotiate a longer closing and a post-possession agreement. This allows you to keep living in your house after closing.

Next, we will find you a new house. We’ll be able to pounce immediately when we find a home you want, and you’ll be in a strong position since your current house will be in escrow. We then work both transactions at the same time so that you’ll move directly from one house to the other at closing.
The ideal situation is to close up your moving truck in the morning, move to your new house, close on your first house, then we close on the second house, and you move in that afternoon. It’s a bit of a crazy day for everybody, but we have a lot of experience in making it happen.
