Current market factors are making right now a good time to buy or sell.
Today I’ll answer a question that I’ve received from many of my clients: “Is it a good time to sell?” The answer is that it depends.
The number of houses in our market has risen dramatically in the last six weeks. More homes on the market mean that buyers have more choices, so pricing, staging, and condition are becoming much more important. There are still homes that sell in a day, but those properties are in fantastic condition and are priced appropriately.
Inflation has been rising over the last few months, and the Federal Reserve has been using interest rates as a way to slow down the economy. Looking at the overall market, it is an amazing time to sell because there’s still demand from buyers, especially those who have been beaten out in multiple-offer situations. It’s also a great time to buy because you have more choices available to you, and Arizona is a growing market.
